Mayrouba Church - Lebanon

The Mayrouba Church has undergone several different phases since its first conception and one of the four design advanced was built but incomplete. The existing structure was a reflection of a big Church with a modern feel. We tried to preserve this aspect all the while respecting the traditions of the Maronite Community and of Lebanon. Thus our design is a mix between modern and traditional elements that give the Church a unique familiar look with certain elements that make it feel like home.

Our design of the Church is strong like its Saint, Mar Elias, traditional like the Maronite Community but at the same time modern and adapted to its time like the Lebanese society and the Mayrouba population. It’s a mix of every element that constitutes the history and traditions of the Lebanese Maronite but also portrays the present and a hopeful future of all the faithful for all current generations and the ones to come.
